About Us
The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new chapter following its refurbishment.
Join us as a Senior Chef de Partie and play your part in shaping the future of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.
If you are a dedicated and skilled chef, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.
This is a permanent role, at 48 hours per week (including weekends), with an annual salary of £36,400 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

Key Responsibilities
- Owning and overseeing your workstation: Your role will oversee your workstation and alongside the rest of the kitchen, make our menus come alive!
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down as well as
- Supervise and support junior chefs and be a mentor
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious working environment, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Leadership and team supervision abilities.
- Charisma, an engaging personality and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to keep calm and focussed during busy service, keeping your station clean and tidy throughout.
- Knowledge of techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards, food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
