As Childcare Assistant you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our younger guests. From welcoming families with genuine warmth to ensuring every play interaction is delightful, you will embody our commitment to exceptional service and contribute to the magic that makes Woolley Grange a beloved destination for families seeking joy and relaxation.
Job Type: Casual Worker Agreement – Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and will include some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering an exciting activity programme: You will create, prepare, organise and deliver a fun, safe and stimulating activity programme for the children in your care, tailored to their age and interests.
- Make long lasting unique memories: Through interactive play and creative activities you will work together as a team to make long lasting unique memories for our smallest guests.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming play environment: You will ensure a safe and welcoming play environment is created for all of the children in our care and ensure that their needs are met throughout the session. You will be expected to interact confidently with the parents and guardians and ensure any requests made are adhered to.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Accredited childcare/play work qualification Level 2 or 3 is essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and creating positive experiences for families.
- Paediatric First aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and creative approach to organising activities.
