About Us: Woolley Grange, part of Luxury Family Hotels, has just reopened its doors following a beautiful refurbishment. Join our team as a Night Porter and help shape the next chapter of this much-loved Wiltshire retreat.

Role overview:

As a Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night hours. This position requires a responsible and proactive individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and security for our guests.

This is a permanent position at 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.28 per hour, plus generous service charge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise: ensuring the safety, security, and well‑being of all our lovely guests.
  • Guest assistance: Provide assistance to guests during the night, including check-ins, handling guest enquiries, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain brand standards of our reception and public areas: keep areas tidy and presentable.
  • Work as part of a motivated team: this is a hands‑on role managing the guest experience, giving concierge service.
  • Understand health and safety and keep calm in challenging circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality background is preferred.
  • An engaging personality, with a passion for hospitality who can provide great service to our guests.
  • The ability to interact and engage with all guests including children.
  • Problem solver – able to answer guest questions and look for solutions, with the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and accurate numeracy, along with honesty and good judgment.
  • Availability to work night shifts and weekends.
