We have an exciting position opening at Woollcombe Yonge to become part of our Property team. Our Conveyancing department specialises in dealing with a variety of residential and commercial property matters and we are now seeking a paralegal to join our busy and friendly team, due to growth within the department. This role offers the perfect candidate real progression with a long-term future at Woollcombe Yonge.
You will be focused on providing exceptional service and advice to our clients, have experience of using a case management system, and work well within a team. The candidate must have the following essential skills for the role:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Prior knowledge of working with a Case Management system.
- A strong user knowledge of IT packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Be a team player focused on providing an exceptional service.
- Strong interpersonal skills communicating with clients, lenders and other solicitors.
Day to day tasks will include the following:
- Pre and post completion work
- File opening and closing
- Liaising with clients, lenders and other related parties
- Admin tasks for active matters
- Reviewing Title Deeds
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
- Assisting with drafting/reviewing documents such as:
- Leases
- Deeds
- Contracts and Transfers
- Various types of commercial agreements
You will be expected to assist with the maintenance of our excellent relationships with clients, professional contacts and work providers and to provide assistance to other fee earners in the team.
