Overview
WOOLF is seeking a mid-level Interior Designer or Interior Architect to join the design studio in Bath.
This role requires someone who has a strong work ethic, is extremely organised, highly creative and has a great knowledge of materials, alongside being able to communicate with contractors and suppliers effectively. You must have a desire to develop bespoke contemporary and historic concepts and enjoy designing for unique luxury houses and hotel interiors as well as relish working on projects as a team and solo.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting in the creative vision alongside our clients and design team
- Delivering and developing design work from concept to delivery
- Be able to present design concepts and ideas with confidence liaising with consultants and suppliers
Knowledge and experience
- Proven experience working within residential and hotel projects
- Space planning and concept development
- Experience producing detailed drawings packages and schedules
- A history of working to UK statutory requirements
- Working knowledge of joinery and construction detailing
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to source and specify FF&E solo and as part of a team
- Work to design programs and cost planning budgets
Skills
- 2D and 3D software is essential (ideally Vectorworks)
- A minimum 2-3 years interior design industry experience
- Excellent rendering and/or sketching skills is an advantage
- Ability to work to deadlines and multitask across various projects
- Great knowledge of FF&E, plus a knowledge of new and unusual suppliers
- InDesign proficiency
- Procurement software such as Estimac is an advantage

- The designer will demonstrate fluency with the following software: Vectorworks, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design and Estimac
- This role is based in the Bath studio, with 5 days a week in the office
- 2-3 years experience is required
