Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and corrective surgeries.
- Analyse medical imaging to accurately diagnose and plan surgical interventions.
- Collaborate closely with dental practitioners, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques and technology.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards within the clinical environment.
Location/Practice details
Woole and Scarra are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our specialised dental team in Leamington Spa within our private dental practice one day a week. Fully qualified Oral Surgeon recognised by relevant dental or medical authorities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in performing complex oral surgical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to maxillofacial regions.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans, or MRI scans.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members in a professional manner.
- A valid DBS certificate will be required on request.
- All candidates must be registered with the GDC.
- Exhibit a patient-centric approach, prioritising the comfort and well-being of each individual.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree and be on the specialist list, ensuring your expertise is recognised.
