Salary: Grade 7 Pay Point 11-14 (£26,832 - £28,146 per annum, approximate starting salary of £20,164.58)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time only + Inset days)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Split shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 10:00 and 14:45 - 18:15
About the Role
Woolden Hill Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Extended Services Club Manager. The successful candidate will be committed to providing inspirational and motivational environment for children afterschool/Breakfast club/WAC provision. First and foremost, we are seeking an inspiring, committed leader and team player. We will provide opportunities for our children to play, explore and learn, recognising their fundamental need to be physically active, to be cared for and to be nurtured according to the individual child's needs. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!

Key Responsibilities
- To fulfil the expectations of practice as set out in the Discovery Wrap AroundCare Framework in all areas. Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments,Healthy Minds and Bodies, Safe Systems.
- To prepare, maintain and monitor a safe and secure environment for thechildren; to monitor resources and ensure adequate stock in an appropriatecondition.
- To maintain a duty of care for all children attending the WAC provision.
- To liaise with parents and carers to ensure that the welfare, cultural anddevelopment needs of individual children are met and to encourage parent andcarer support.
- To develop inclusion by:
- facilitating participation;
- helping to build confidence and self-esteem;
- promoting a sense of independence;
- encouraging and supporting children to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- NVQ3 or equivalent in Childcare.
Experience:
- Experience of working with children.
- Knowledge of working within the education andmeeting the requirements relating to OfstedInspection.
- Experience of managing a budget
- Ability to lead a team of adults.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of assessment procedures andrecord keeping.
- Experience of working with children of arelevant age.
- Experience of budget management
- Experience of staff management
- Ability to provide a safe environment, ensuringthat the needs of the young people are met at alltimes
- Ability to form trusting relationships with youngpeople and adults
