This week a dog owner in Knottingley went looking for a walker and WoofWalk, a UK app where owners book and pay local walkers, had nobody within ten kilometres. We want up to three self-employed walkers for Knottingley, Ferrybridge, Byram and Pontefract, with Pontefract Park, Fairburn Ings and the Aire and Calder towpath for the walks.
It is self-employed, so there is no wage and no guaranteed bookings. You run a walking business of your own through the app and you decide the prices, the days and the area. Owners book you and pay you in the app, and the money arrives in your bank.

Charges: joining is free and the first 14 days are commission-free. After that WoofWalk takes 15% of each booking, which falls to 10% for life once five of your own clients have come on board. A client you bring yourself pays 10% from their first booking onwards. Sorting out tax, National Insurance and insurance is your job, not ours.
