Suffolk coast dog walker (Saxmundham, Leiston, Aldeburgh): self-employed, your own prices
In the last fortnight an owner in Saxmundham asked a local group for a dog walker, and WoofWalk had no walker within twenty-five kilometres to recommend. WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book and pay local walkers, and we are recruiting up to three self-employed walkers for Saxmundham, Leiston, Aldeburgh, Framlingham and Kelsale, with the beach at Thorpeness and Aldeburgh, the Sailors' Path and the Suffolk Coast Path for the walks.
There is no wage attached and no guaranteed bookings; you would be self-employed, running a small walking business of your own through the app. Prices, days and area are yours to choose. Owners book and pay in the app and the money reaches your bank.
As a pointer, around 200 WoofWalk listings in October 2026 charged between £12 and £28 for an hour's solo walk, £18 being typical. Those are other walkers' rates, not an offer from us.
Costs: joining is free; there is no commission for your first 14 days; after that WoofWalk takes 15% of each booking, reducing to 10% once five of your own clients have joined. Any client you introduce pays 10% from their first booking. Your tax, National Insurance and insurance policy are matters for you, not the app.
Already walking dogs on the coast? Bring your clients across and run bookings, payments and GPS-tracked walks from one app.
