Norwich dog walker and sitter, self-employed, from Mousehold to Whitlingham
Norwich has no WoofWalk walker yet and we want three, one each for the north around Mousehold, the south and west around Eaton, and the east out to Whitlingham.
WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book a local person to walk, visit or sit their dog. You are self-employed and it is your business. You set prices, you set hours, you take the bookings you want, and owners book and pay through the app with payment made out to you. We do not employ you, there is no wage and we do not guarantee work.
Norwich prices from public listings: half-hour walks £8.50 to £24 and usually about £15, hour walks around £16, group walks around £15, home visits about £16 and home boarding around £35 a night. You decide what you charge.
Mousehold Heath, Whitlingham Country Park and Eaton Park are the main grounds. Norwich's dog fouling order covers all public land in the city with a £100 fixed penalty, so clear up every time.
Costs: nothing to join. No commission for the first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, falling to 10% for life once five clients have joined through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are yours.
Anyone over 18 with free daytime hours and a liking for being outdoors in Norfolk weather will do fine.
