Glasgow dog walker, self-employed: be one of the first on WoofWalk here

Four people in Glasgow have applied to WoofWalk so far, and two have set up walking businesses, one in the city and one in Hamilton. That is a near-empty pitch, which is exactly the reason to look at this.

WoofWalk is a UK app that puts dog owners in touch with a walker near them. You work for yourself: your own prices, your own days, your own choice of which bookings to take. Owners book and pay through the app, and the money comes to you. We do not employ you, pay a wage or guarantee any work.

Pricing in the city, from public sitter listings: a half-hour walk from £7 up to £25, most around £15; a home visit about £15; a night of home boarding around £33. Those are other walkers' prices. You decide yours, and our start page shows you what you would keep at any price before you set it.

Glasgow walkers tend to use Pollok Country Park, Kelvingrove, Glasgow Green and Rouken Glen. The council fines £80 for not clearing up, so bags are part of the kit.

The terms: nothing to pay to list. No commission for your first 14 days, then 15% per booking, dropping to 10% permanently once five of your clients have signed up through you. You look after your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.

We are looking for three walkers to start, ideally in different parts of the city. Over 18.
