Job description

WoodWing is a global software company with over 25 years of experience helping media organisations, publishers, and content-driven businesses work smarter, enabled by state of the art AI solutions. Headquartered in the Netherlands, WoodWing serves hundreds of customers across the globe β€” from leading newspaper groups and magazine publishers to broadcasters and corporate content teams.

Trusted by iconic media brands and forward-thinking publishers worldwide, WoodWing sits at the heart of some of the industry's most demanding content operations. Our customers choose us because we understand the unique pressures of content orchestration β€” tight deadlines, high volumes, and the constant need to do more with less.

As we continue to grow and evolve our SaaS offering, the UK market represents a key strategic priority. We are expanding our commercial team to deepen relationships with UK media organisations and unlock new opportunities across publishing, broadcasting, and digital content.

At WoodWing, you will join a passionate, experienced team that combines deep industry knowledge with a genuine commitment to customer success β€” and a product roadmap that keeps pace with a rapidly changing media landscape.

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Senior Account Executive to accelerate growth across the UK market for our content management SaaS platform. You will focus on acquiring and expanding relationships with media companies, publishers, broadcasters, and content-driven organisations.

This is a strategic role suited to a consultative seller who understands the evolving media landscape, (digital) content workflows, and the value of scalable SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through to close

  • Target and win new business across media, publishing, broadcasting, and (digital) content organisations

  • Develop tailored solutions that address content workflows, asset management, and distribution challenges

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and ROI-driven proposals

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Content, Digital, Product, and IT)

  • Create and execute strategic territory and account plans for the UK market

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams

  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close complex deals

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM systems

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Job requirements

  • 5–8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with consistent quota achievement

  • Proven experience selling into media, publishing, broadcasting, or content-driven organisations

  • Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), or media workflows

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Track record of closing mid-market and enterprise deals (Β£50k–£250k+ ACV preferred)

  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot

  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment
