As a Repair and Overhaul Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of quality and precision that Woodward is known for in the aerospace industry. You will work under the supervision of an Operations Supervisor, performing essential tasks such as assembly, testing, and inspection of aircraft engines and components, ensuring each product meets the highest operational and engineering specifications.

As a Repair and Overhaul Technician at Woodward, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly & Installation: Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit parts and subassemblies using tools and equipment according to detailed work instructions.
- Testing & Calibration: Perform low to moderately complex flow/pressure testing and calibration of components to ensure all products meet quality standards.
- Inspection: Use inspection tools to check parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet engineering and operational requirements.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including Quality Assurance and Test Records (QAATR).
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Promote a positive work culture and collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence.
We are looking for a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and ready to contribute to our dynamic team. Ideal candidates should have:
- Education: A recognised Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent apprenticeship in a relevant field.
- Experience: Previous experience in assembly, testing, or repair in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of hand tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in inspection techniques and the ability to use inspection tools effectively.
- Attention to detail to identify and resolve any inconsistencies or defects.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
