Based in Hertfordshire, Woodston Personnel UK are recruiting for a Specialty Ward Doctor to join an established company on a permanent basis, with a salary of up to £80,000 per year. This job will involve working within a multidisciplinary team with the aim to deliver specific and patient-centric care to individuals. This is a nationwide company with over 70 services including Mental Health, Neurological and Learning Disabilities. This company aims to deliver a unique and individual service to their patients in order to provide the best possible care.
It is essential the candidate has a full GMC registration with at least 3 years experience in Psychiatry. The candidate must be in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and have had an appraisal/RITA in the last year. The candidate will be subject to a DBS check.
Job Responsibilities:
- Make sure the patient has a full physical health screening
- Completing discharge letters/reports/s62 forms
- Deliver adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours
- Reviewing mental states of patients
- Take the lead with any physical health concerns during inpatient stays
