Based in London, Woodston Personnel UK is recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join a charity funded hospital on a permanent basis, with a salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum. This job will involve working within a multidisciplinary environment providing personalised, quality care for patients with life-threatening illnesses. This hospital is set in beautiful surroundings but within an easy commute to London’s city centre. The hospital is charity funded and provides exceptional care for its patients. You’ll be working with some of the world's best healthcare professionals with state-of-the-art facilities.
It is essential the candidate is an experienced Band 5, or above, specialist with up-to-date experience. The candidate must be able to empower and mentor staff while delivering exceptional care to patients. The candidate should be able to demonstrate their extensive knowledge and influence decision-making processes. Communication and collaboration skills are essential to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:- Maintain high standards of professional practice
- Supervise and train staff including Student Nurses and HCAs
- Assist the Ward Manager in leadership and management and take over in their absence
- Promote an attitude of continuous improvements in patient care and stay up-to-date with research and evidence to improve practice
