A leading manufacturer of FMCG chemicals is currently hiring for a Quality & Technical Compliance Lead. The role is to ensure company technical compliance with various agencies and customers both internally and externally as well as ensuring the company has a comprehensive and understood QMS.
The successful applicant will come from an FMCG environment, preferably within the chemical industry, have BRCGS experience, internal and external auditing and understanding of COMAH requirements.
Key responsibilities:- Be the key contact person responsible for ensuring technical compliance for the business
- To support External and complete internal audits for the business
- Coordinate and lead Customer Audits
- Be the coordinator of customer complaints response and ensure that any and all corrective actions are put in place
- Auditing to GMP/ISO standards
- Ownership of monitoring of incoming raw materials and components, ensuring fit for use before they get onto the line.
- Supplier reviews to ensure materials purchased are of appropriate standard, consistency and are ethically produced
- SOP reviews for processes and procedures relevant from a technical perspective to the business.
- Ensuring correct documentation is in place on portals
- Portal management – ensure portals are regularly reviewed, updated and responded to as appropriate
- Other items as requested by Line manager
- Previous experience in a quality/technical lead role
- FMCG experience min 5 years, preferably Chemical industry
- BRCGS experience
- Auditing, internal and being audited by external bodies
- Understanding of COMAH requirements
- Risk analysis; being able to identify key risks and their mitigations
- Report writing for use by external parties and internally
