A leading cleaning chemicals manufacturer based in the West Midlands is looking to hire an experienced quality coordinator. You will keep a close eye on the lines, the raw materials, the in process and the finished products, ensuring quality is maintained first time. If it isn’t, you will pick up and handle customer complaints to keep those precious customers on board and happy.
What You'll Do
- Assist in third-party audits and customer visits.
- Monitor quality systems and initiate appropriate actions to meet standards, gain accreditation for BRCGS. Familiar with BRCGS standards.
- Prepare QA files.
- Provide support to production, mixing and warehouse on occurring quality issues.
- Communicate and support all departments on investigations into QC non-compliances, consumer complaints and customer surveillance testing.
- Manage external testing of finished product when required, prepare bi-annual pre-listing reports.
- Create standard work procedures, improve existing ones, train SOPs, create quality alerts.
- Assist the customer support officer to investigate customer complaints from retailer to direct customers.
- Review risk assessments, create new ones, propose solutions to reduce risk.
- Promote continuous improvement of the quality management system.
- Conduct packaging approval, maintain samples.
- Control the non-conformity database, raise complaints, contact suppliers.
- Liaise packaging issues with suppliers, investigate causes, gather information.
- Perform internal audits based on the schedule.
- Ability to complete rapid problem solving and root-cause analyses.
- Complete traceability exercise, from raw material to finished product and vice-versa.
