A leading manufactuer of personal care products based in the Preston area is looking to hire a junior planning assistant to their team.

Ideally with a little experience in supply chain or a recent qualification in this field, you will be a strong communicator and be exceptionally well organised, joining a busy team of supply chain professionals and buyers.

What you will do: * Managing the Procurement Inbox ensuring Order Confirmations are received from suppliers and entered into QAD * Communicating any supply issues to the Senior planner * Entering Shipment details for EU suppliers who are not DDP onto John Goode Portal (Shipping Clerk activities) * Commodity Code checks * Ordering of direct and indirect materials * Maintain inventory stock at optimum levels * Price list updates * To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you show due diligence at all times.
