A leading cleaning and hygiene chemical manufacturing business has exclusively partnered with Woodstock Recruitment to support them in their search for their next Junior Chemist. You will join a chemistry team that Woodstock Recruitment has had the pleasure of helping build over several years, with a great vibe and working atmosphere, and at a time of further business growth.
What you will do:
- Conduct testing of raw materials, finished goods and first off samples; also bug tests and application of identification labels.
- Liaising with Technical department to alert of any problems with raw materials or finished goods.
- Daily calibrations of SG, RI and pH meters.
- Daily calibration of COD Photometer; conduct daily COD testing.
- Responding to emails and/or forwarding to team members as appropriate.
- Managing the Daily Batch Record board, ensuring it is completed accurately every day, and taking passing samples to Technical department so they can complete the Lab Report.
- Maintaining current Standard samples.
