We require a driver who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in the use of smart phones and is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.\n The Role: \n \n \n Transporting a wide variety of items to customers \n Following the designated routes which relate to the delivery and communicating your location and estimated arrival time \n Providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers \n Safe, efficient and responsible driving of Company vehicle \n Perform daily vehicle and trailer checks and completion of relevant documentation \n Keeping vehicles clean inside and out \n Reporting of defects to traffic office and obtaining defect number. \n Complying with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and site policies \n \n Rates of pay: \n \nBasic Rate: £15.20\n \nOvertime: Mon -Fri : £17.46 Sat / Sun: £19.72\n \nNight out allowance £30 per night\n \nMeal allowance £5 per day\n Essential Criteria: \n \nHGV Class C&E (Class 1) licence.\n Benefits: \n \nCompetitive pay rate and allowance for nights out (if applicable)\n \nFull induction and training on all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers\n \nFully funded healthcare plan with Health Shield\n \nLong service recognition\n \nCycle to work scheme\n \nOpportunities for personal development\n \nRole specific training\n Our Diversity and Inclusion commitments \n \nWoodside Logistics Group is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
