What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced HGV driver holding a valid C+E licence to join our Manchester operation on a casual, ad-hoc basis. The role is primarily to provide day-shift cover as required, with guaranteed 10-hour shifts. The driver will be responsible for the delivery and collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers, maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

The Role:

  • General driving duties, observing current legal and best-practice standards, and delivering and collecting goods to/from the customer’s premises.
  • Loading and delivering food and non-food grade goods for major blue-chip companies.
  • Full UK C+E licence.
  • Digital tachograph card and driver’s CPC qualification card.
  • Knowledge of driver’s hours and relevant regulations.
  • Competitive pay rate with allowance for nights out (if applicable).
