What are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced HGV drivers holding a valid C+E licence to join our team at our Liverpool operation on a casual ad hoc basis. This role is primarily to provide day shift cover as required, with guaranteed 10-hour shifts. You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers, maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive a high spec, modern and well-maintained fleet. We require a driver who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in the use of smart phones and is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers’ premises.
- Loading and delivering of food / non-food grade goods on behalf of major blue-chip companies.
- Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.
- A full UK C+E licence.
- Digital tachograph card and driver’s CPC qualification card.
- Able to maintain a good standard of driving.
- Clean licence preferable but up to a maximum of 6 points is acceptable.
- Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations.
- ADR in tanks.
