Contract Type: Permanent

Shift pattern: Mon - Fri, 0900 – 17.30 (On call on a rotational basis after successful completion of probation period)

Woodside Logistics Group are recruiting for a full time Systems Administrator, to join their IT Department at their Ballynure Headquarters.

Job Summary

IT systems are essential to the successful day to day running of all group activities, every Woodsides Vehicle on the road is now connected to IT systems at group headquarters, Ballynure. You will be heavily involved with the day to day support, administration & maintenance of the Woodside Logistics Group IT Hardware & Software. You will gain experience across a broad range of IT areas.

Duties And Experience Gained But Not Limited To:

  • Provide day to day 1st and 2nd line IT & Infrastructure support, in a multisite environment across UK and Ireland.
  • Escalate relevant calls to Senior IT staff or external system providers when required.
  • Daily use of IT Helpdesk & Administration of user tickets to help KPI reports.
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot Network computer hardware and software including desktops, laptops, phones, tablets and other peripheral equipment.
  • Gain a good working knowledge of all Woodside applications used throughout the business, including but not limited to TMS (Transport Management Systems), EDIs, Financial Packages and more.
  • Maintain, provide support and troubleshoot to ensure the successful day-to-day running’s of the business.
  • Windows Server administration including Active Directory and the use of Group Policies.
  • Office365 administration including (but not limited to) Microsoft Co-Pilot, Entra, & software packages.
  • New user account setups of hardware & software for specific internal departments.
  • Mobile device management.
  • Record, track and document the IT support problem solving process.
  • Occasional travel to UK and Ireland sites as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT discipline.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team.
  • Keen interest in both current and emerging technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of ISO Requirements and Structure.
  • Exposure to multi-site networking including VPNs and Cloud.
  • Knowledge & experience within Backup & Recovery environments.
