What are we looking for?
We are looking for an HGV driver that holds a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Cairnryan. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive a high spec, modern and well-maintained fleet. We require a driver who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in the use of smart phones and is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.
The Role:
- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers premises.
- Loading and delivering of food / non-food grade goods on behalf of major blue-chip companies.
- Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.
Essential criteria:
- A full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Digital tachograph card and driver's CPC qualification card.
- Able to maintain a good standard of driving.
- Clean license preferable but up to a maximum of 6 points is acceptable.
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.
Desirable Criteria:
- 12 months previous tanker driving experience.
