Customs Clerk (weekends) in Ballyclare

Join our specialist Customs and Freight Forwarding team at Woodside Logistics Group. Working both independently and alongside our sister transport divisions, Woodside Haulage, Woodside Tankfreight, Woodside Motorfreight and Woodside Distribution, we provide customs clearance and freight forwarding services across the UK and Ireland. The Role As a key member of our Woodside Global team, you'll be responsible for handling import and export shipments and providing customs clearance services across the UK and Ireland, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods. Handling import and export shipments and customs clearance procedures. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and business partners. Using Microsoft Office applications and a range of IT systems to manage customs-related tasks. ? Monday to Friday: 11:00am - 7:00pm. Weekend cover: One weekend in every 10, with Saturday working from 9:00am - 3:00pm and Sunday on call. The Monday following the weekend duty. Salary Competitive salary, dependent on experience. ? At least two years' previous administrative experience in a fast-paced, busy office environment. At least two years' experience using Microsoft Office packages. Desirable: Previous experience working in a busy transport office or within the logistics industry preferred Full training will be provided on all aspects of customs clearance work, although previous experience in customs or freight forwarding would be advantageous.
