Excellent opportunity to work for a medium sized family run business, based in Blackburn – Lancashire. Woodscape has been at the forefront of design and manufacturing of hardwood street furniture in the UK & Beyond for over 45 years.
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to manage our CNC machinery, an integral role in producing our Naturally Very Durable Hardwood bespoke street furniture, ensuring production targets and our high-quality standards are met.
This role involves setting up CNC machines according to technical drawings and specifications, running tests and ensuring that all produced parts meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Set and operate CNC machinery and produce components to a high and precise specification and accuracy
- Adhering to CNC operating processes
- Set up tooling and fixture to execute programs
- Take care of the Health and Safety of yourself and any other people who may be affected by your acts
- Always keep your station and machine clean and tidy
- Ad-hoc tasks for line manager as required
- CNC Setter Operator experience, preferably gained on a 5 or 3 Axis Machine – but not essential
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise workload to achieve deadline
- Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication skills, thrive in a hardworking, dynamic environment
