We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential, high-growth branded consumer business for a permanent UK & EMEA Category Manager opportunity based at its UK head office. This is a strategically important role sitting within the commercial function, acting as the key link between Sales, Marketing and Category, and partnering closely with major UK grocery accounts to turn data and insight into compelling category-led growth plans.
The successful candidate will use retailer and market data to shape sales strategy, support range reviews and brand planning sessions, and develop insight-driven narratives that strengthen customer conversations and unlock growth opportunities across the UK and wider EMEA region. The role also plays a central part in driving category reporting standards across the business, translating complex data into clear commercial recommendations, and working cross-functionally with marketing, NPD and product teams to identify whitespace opportunities and evaluate new product concepts.
We are looking for an experienced category professional with strong exposure to major grocers, excellent analytical capability, and hands-on experience using data platforms such as Nielsen, IRI, Circana, Euromonitor or Dunnhumby. You will be confident presenting to both internal stakeholders and external customers, highly capable in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable building commercially robust, insight-led stories. Previous experience in a branded FMCG environment is essential, with pet category experience or a genuine passion for the sector highly advantageous.
This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a commercially minded Category Manager who enjoys influencing at pace, working cross-functionally, and shaping category strategy within an ambitious growth business.
