The Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing investment management group with a strong reputation for delivering innovative investment solutions and outstanding results. They partner with a diverse range of intermediaries, financial advisers, and distribution networks across the UK. As part of their continued expansion, they have created this brand-new position to focus on building and deepening relationships with national accounts and adviser networks.

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, collaborative team at a time of growth, where your expertise and network will have a direct impact on the company’s success.

The Role

As Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager / Director, you will take ownership of driving new business opportunities and growing strategic relationships with national adviser firms, networks, and key distribution partners. You’ll combine high-level relationship management with targeted business development, working closely with senior decision-makers to create long-term value for both parties.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a strategic plan to win, grow, and retain partnerships with nationals and networks.
    • Act as the primary relationship lead for key accounts, ensuring strong alignment and mutual value creation.
    • Identify and convert new commercial opportunities, leveraging your existing network and industry insight.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial terms, ensuring both compliance and commercial viability.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (investment, marketing, operations) to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional partner experiences.
    • Monitor performance against agreed objectives, using data-driven insight to optimise strategies.
    • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to raise profile and strengthen relationships.

About You:

    • Proven track record in strategic partnerships, business development, or sales within financial services – ideally investment management or a related sector.
    • Strong network of contacts across nationals, networks, and large adviser firms.
    • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to close high-value agreements.
    • Confident and credible when engaging with senior stakeholders at C-suite and board level.
    • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Why Join?

    • Play a pivotal role in shaping a newly created position with autonomy and influence.
    • Be part of a forward-thinking, growing investment management group with a strong reputation.
    • Competitive salary package, performance incentives, and the opportunity to directly impact growth.
