Woods Chartered Surveyors is a growing multi-disciplined chartered surveying firm that focuses on quality over quantity and has grown quickly as a result. This growth now sees the firm entering the London market. Woods is built around 3 core principles: great client service, detailed bespoke reporting and looking after our fantastic team.
This is a full-time role for a Residential Surveyor based in south-west London (location potentially flexible). The majority of work will simply comprise carrying out a single Level 2 survey per day, but also include some Level 3 surveys, residential valuations, and a small number of defect surveys when requested by clients. We don’t do any panel work - purely private clients.
The focus of the work will always be providing great quality surveys and top client service. Ongoing support and continuing development is provided by an FRICS and MRICS surveyor, with the opportunity to progress to surveying historic property.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in residential surveying, property valuations, and report preparation
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in time management and ability to work independently in a hybrid setting
- Membership or qualification with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is essential
- Previous experience in the property sector or a similar role is desirable
