About the Role. The Communications Specialist is focused on building reputation through bold, strategic public relations. Supporting the 7C Network - Woods Bagot, ERA-co, Impact Futures and Customs Bureau - this role is all about finding the right stories, shaping them into powerful pitches, and getting them in front of the right audiences. This position supports the UK and EUR (Germany & Italy focused) region with a smaller focus on the Middle East, so awareness of - and media connections within - that region is highly desirable.

- Content and Collaboration: Identify and shape global stories by working with subject matter experts across studios, sectors and geographies - particularly in the UK and Europe. Write, edit, and publish high-quality content that communicates key project milestones, people moves, research and thought leadership. Support the execution of the global insights content strategy, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging. Work closely with the Global Insights and Communications Leader and regional content teams to align content priorities with brand and business goals. Build close working relationships with sector leaders, regional communications specialists, and Business Development, Marketing and Communications team members across the 7C network. Proactively help grow, refine and manage a targeted list of media contacts - tailored by region, sector, publication type, and strategic opportunity. Maintain a pipeline of story leads across projects, people, and initiatives, contributing to a shared editorial calendar. Help drive and manage EDM content alongside Digital Marketing and Content Manager.
- Media & Public Relations: Proactively identify, pitch, and place stories with relevant international, national, and regional media outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry publications, especially within the UK and Europe (Germany & Italy focus) and a smaller focus on the Middle East. Prepare talking points, briefing materials, and appearance support for leaders and spokespeople. Track media coverage and maintain accurate records of PR performance for reporting. Respond to inbound media enquiries and support the release of press kits, award news, and announcements.
- Social & Digital Media: Support social media scheduling and planning for global and regional stories, using tools such as Meltwater. Upload and edit content in WordPress to keep woodsbagot.com current and regionally relevant. Liaise with the Content & Channel Manager to align messaging across digital channels and ensure timely publishing. Help drive consistency in voice, tone, and strategic intent across owned media platforms.
- Events & Speaking Engagements: Support the promotion of global and relevant regional attendance at key industry events, conferences and exhibitions. Identify speaker opportunities and contribute to the development of presentation materials and talking points. Capture and share outcomes of events via internal and external channels, including social media, news posts, and internal comms.
