Job Opportunity: Specialist Cardiac Physiologist
Are you passionate about advancing cardiac care and maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence? Join our team as a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a dynamic cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and uphold professional standards in the provision of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations.
- Actively participate in the day-to-day delivery of the Pacing and Implantable Devices Service in collaboration with Cardiologists and the Head of Technical Services.
- Perform a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, including ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, device downloads, and reprogramming.
- Provide highly specialised technical support during pacemaker implantation, generator replacement, lead extraction, and associated procedures.
- Work autonomously on single and dual chamber pacemaker and implantable loop recorder follow-ups, making informed decisions on diagnostic investigations or interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear guidance on device implantation, therapy implications, and potential complications.
- Manage ICD follow-ups, implantation, and troubleshooting with precision and care.
