At Woodpecker Flooring we produce the trade’s most trusted wood floors, challenge convention, and build partnerships that drive growth. We are looking for a commercially minded, highly organised National Key Account Executive to work alongside our National Key Account Manager and help drive our relationships with some of the UK’s biggest and most influential customers, including Wickes, B&Q, Screwfix, Selco and other leading national accounts.
This is not a traditional support role. You will be at the heart of the commercial operation, connecting Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing and our customers to ensure plans are delivered, promotions are executed flawlessly and opportunities are maximised. What you will be doing:
- Supporting the management and growth of major national accounts
- Preparing customer business reviews, presentations and account packs
- Working directly with customer category managers on promotional planning and execution
- Coordinating annual promotional calendars and activity plans
- Translating promotional plans into accurate demand forecasts
- Working closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure stock availability and successful launches
- Managing customer agreements, pricing files, rebate schedules and commercial documentation
- Producing commercial analysis, sales reports and performance insights
- Acting as a key link between our customers and internal teams to ensure commitments are delivered
- Supporting strategic account planning and identifying opportunities for growth
What we are looking for:
You may already be a National Account Executive, Commercial Executive, Customer Supply Chain Executive or Account Coordinator looking for your next challenge. Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys making things happen. You will likely have:
- Experience supporting key accounts, national accounts or large customer relationships
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with data
- Experience working with promotions, forecasting or customer planning
- The ability to influence and build relationships across different teams
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to challenge and improve processes
- Experience working with retail, merchant, DIY or building products customers would be advantageous but is not essential.
