Qualifications

  • Experience of effective teaching at KS3, KS4 and KS5 (able to teach Geography or History up to KS3 and one or both to GCSE, with potential for A Level teaching).
  • Very high expectations of what can be achieved.
  • A proven track record in raising pupil attainment and making a difference.
  • An understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process.
  • A strong desire to work in unity and collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school community.
  • Experience of following direction and being a proactive, team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and innovative approach to personal development & school improvement.
  • The ability to lead on the educational progress, achievement and enrichment experience (including trips, rewards and clubs).
