We are looking for an excellent Primary Science & Computing Lead with:

  • Very high expectations of what can be achieved;
  • Proven successful teaching and achievement of outstanding pupil progress with an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process;
  • Experience of successful leadership skills or evidence of developing leadership skills at a primary, secondary or all-through school within a multicultural community;
  • Knowledge of relevant developments and innovations in the primary curriculum and pedagogy to enhance school practice, pupil progress and standards of achievement;
  • Knowledge of the current educational issues and characteristics of effective primary and/or secondary schools and strategies for raising standards and the progress and achievement of all pupils;
  • The skills to work successfully as a team member establishing effective working relationships and flexible working practices; contributing to high staff morale through the enthusiasm, drive and determination to inspire others and achieve the highest standards;
  • Experience of following direction and working in collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school community;
  • The ability to be kind, positive and committed to the school’s inclusive ethos;
  • The ability to be flexible, calm, work under pressure and manage change effectively.
