Senior Chef - Rotherham Pub Kitchen Role with Training, Progression and Reliable Hours
We're looking for an experienced Second Chef to join Beth and the friendly pub kitchen team at the Woodman in Rotherham and help deliver great-quality food for guests, every shift. If you're ready to step up, lead from the front and be part of a pub that sits at the heart of its community, this could be the perfect next move.
What you'll do as Sous Chef:
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help run the kitchen day to day, keep service moving, and make sure every dish leaves the pass looking and tasting as it should.
- Support the Head Chef with kitchen management, food preparation and daily operations
- Step up as second in command when the Head Chef is not on shift
- Run the line during busy service and help the team deliver food to spec
- Coach, organise and motivate chefs and kitchen teammates
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, safety and speed of service
- Bring previous kitchen experience from a branded, pub, restaurant or hospitality environment
