Recognised as a leading supplier of veterinary, medical and laboratory equipment, Woodley Equipment Company Ltd is seeking to appoint a Marketing Executive for their UK Veterinary, Vet Diagnostics and Laboratory Diagnostics divisions. Highly skilled in managing CRM systems, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Director of Administration and Managing Director in developing our digital marketing strategy and supporting wider marketing projects. You will need to be highly motivated, able to work at a fast pace and use your experience and knowledge to support and enhance overall company objectives. The position represents a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company with big marketing ambitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as part of a wider Company project to replace our current CRM software.
  • Following the implementation of Salesforce: the ongoing management of leads, devising and running campaigns within the software, and evaluating and reporting on campaign successes.
  • Managing and developing the company’s digital marketing activities and presence including company website, social media accounts, SEO, banner advertising, etc.
  • Development and implementation of online marketing plans in line with the overall marketing objectives.
  • Maintaining and updating various documents and marketing collateral within our website CMS, Q-Pulse Quality Management System and other systems.
  • In due course, developing a new e-commerce website including responsibility for managing all content.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager with projects including providing marketing expertise and skills as part of a product development team, working closely with our suppliers in relation to OEM product design, labelling, user guides and literature from initial product concept to full market launch.
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite to create production-ready artwork for new products and marketing collateral.
  • Management and development of event marketing, ensuring a marketing presence at key industry events, trade shows and conferences within the UK and overseas.
  • Active participation in national and international exhibition planning, preparation and execution from resource allocation, shipment packing and logistics, to arranging transport and accommodation for attendees.
  • Registering, maintaining and monitoring company trademarks.
  • Ad hoc and varied projects depending on company requirements (e.g. organising company events, organising travel, sourcing promotional items, supporting customers and colleagues with information, documents, presentations etc).

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing degree or CIM professional qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing online marketing campaigns and knowledge of online marketing.
  • A background and/or experience in social media marketing.
  • Experience implementing complex marketing projects and schedules.
  • Experience in planning and delivery of marketing plans.
  • Highly creative and able to generate fresh ideas for marketing activity.
  • Skilled in marketing across a variety of disciplines, including email marketing, event marketing and management, website management, PR and advertising.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and confidence in communicating regardless of audience, medium or message.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with key colleagues and affiliates.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
