The Role

We are seeking to appoint outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teachers to join our Key Stage 2 team. This is a temporary, full-time position beginning 1st September 2026 to cover a maternity leave.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich, creative curriculum that inspires children, builds their independence, and prepares them confidently for their final year of primary school for the next stage in their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to support and challenge all learners.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external support staff.
  • Contribute actively to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome.
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5 or Year 6).
  • High expectations for pupil achievement, progress, and behaviour.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
