Summary

Woodlands School is an outstanding special school based in Leatherhead, Surrey, for pupils aged 2-19 with severe or profound learning difficulties, very complex needs or Autism. Our educational approach focuses on preparation for life, with communication and literacy at the heart of everything we do, prompting independence, community inclusion and a curiosity about the world. Our satellite site in Esher: The satellite opened in September 2025, and caters for pupils who are autistic and have learning difficulties. The site is led by an Assistant Headteacher with teaching responsibilities, supported by an experienced team of teachers. We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join the team at our satellite provision based in Esher. See application pack for full details of the role. Staff working at the satellite will be part of the wider Woodlands School community, known for its high standards, strong ethos of teamwork, and specialist expertise in SEND education.
