An opportunity to work for one of the leading food distributors to the upmarket sector of the UK’s foodservice industry. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will have a passion for Fine Food and knowledge of the Fine Dining Sector in the UK.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • We are looking to recruit a Sales Representative to join our Sales team.
  • Primarily be responsible for managing designated territory, engaging with clients, and driving sales growth.
  • This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for customer service.
  • Reporting to your local Head of Sales, you will be responsible for expanding as well as looking after the existing customer base while maintaining customer pricing and promoting new products.
  • Ideally from a chef or food service background you should be self-motivated, hardworking, show great initiative and can build long-standing customer relationships.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Organisational abilities to manage territory effectively.
  • Proven sales experience in a field-based role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective time management to maximise productivity during field visits.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals successfully.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Basic IT skills for reporting and communication purposes.
  • Prior experience in customer service roles would be advantageous.
