Are you an inspirational Early Years practitioner with a passion for nurturing young children through play, exploration and meaningful relationships? We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Nursery Lead Practitioner to lead our nursery provision and create an exceptional learning environment for our youngest children. Qualifications

  • Holds a Level 6 Early Years qualification, EYTS, EYPS or QTS or equivalent full and relevant qualification.
  • Has a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality, child-initiated, play-based learning experiences.
  • Understands the importance of sustained shared thinking and high-quality adult-child interactions.
  • Has a genuine love of outdoor learning and is excited by the opportunities our woodland area provides.

Responsibilities

  • Champion outdoor learning and maximise opportunities for learning in natural environments.
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding.
  • Work with the Early Years Leader to deliver phase events and to develop the curriculum.
