SouthDartmoor Community College is seeking to appoint a highly organised,enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Inclusion Lead to join our dedicatedpastoral team. This is a full-time, permanent position. Working closely withcolleagues, students, families and external agencies, the successful candidatewill play a key role in ensuring that every student is supported to achievetheir full potential. They will be a resilient, compassionate and hard-workingindividual with high expectations of themselves and others, and an unwaveringcommitment to securing the best possible outcomes for all students.
The College has in recent years securedsome of the best results in the South West for student progress. It has astrong staff team in place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil theirpotential including specialist teachers at all levels. We have an excellentacademic record, and our pastoral support is second to none. Our studentsreport that they feel very happy and safe at the school. We are proud of ourstudents, and they are proud of their school. The relationships between staffand students are strong. Community engagement is also an important feature; wehave an active Parent/Teacher Association (FOSDA-Friends of South DartmoorAcademy).
