We are seeking to employ a Community Partnerships Manager to join the team and be responsible for raising funds from a range of community fundraising sources and activities.
Raising awareness of Woodlands Hospice by having a presence within the community.
This is varied role and no two days are the same!
- Main Responsibilities
- Work together with another Community Partnership Managers to achieve total community income budget.
- Develop and nurture relationships within the local community to identify ways they could support Woodlands Hospice.
- . Co-ordinate and work within the community, fundraising through activities such as bag packs, bucket collections and collection boxes.
- Work with Community Partnerships Manager on a calendar of third-party and hospice organised events, offering support to supporters of the hospice pre and post event.
- Input to a 12-month marketing plan for upcoming events.
- Offer high level supporter care through nurturing of relationships via face to face meeting, regular telephone calls and emails.
- Ensure accurate updating of supporter database (Donorflex).
- Endeavour to ensure that Woodlands Hospice is the charity of choice for community fundraising.
- Manage your own diary, ensuring effective time management of being out in the community and working on essential planning and administration in the office.
- Develop relationships with volunteers to support attendance at community events.
- Work with Head of Income Generation to seek new avenues for income.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required by the Head of Income Generation to deliver the hospice business plan.

- Full UK driving licence and access to own car
