We are looking for a professional Class 2 Driver to join our transport team and play a key role in supporting our customers and manufacturing operations.

The Role: This is a varied driving role involving nationwide deliveries, site transfers and customer‑facing work. You will be trusted to represent the business professionally, deliver products safely and provide excellent customer service throughout every delivery. Start times typically vary between 2:00am and 6:00am depending on delivery schedules. The role may include 1-2 overnight stays per week, with a £35 overnight allowance paid for nights away from home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering flat‑pack log cabins and garden buildings nationwide
  • Delivering shed panels directly to customers
  • Transporting timber and materials between company sites
  • Operating HGV vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Securing loads using straps, ratchets and appropriate restraint methods
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation
  • Communicating professionally with customers and trade partners
  • Meeting delivery schedules and reporting any delays
  • Supporting loading and unloading operations where required
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience
  • Good understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
  • Professional and reliable approach
  • HIAB Licence
  • Roping and sheeting experience
  • Experience of nationwide deliveries
