Shift: Tuesday to Friday 9:30AM to 6:00PM (Friday early finish 4:00PM), Saturday 8:00AM to 2:30PM.
Role Overview
The primary purpose of this role is the responsibility and management of purchased and manufactured stock, picking, and booking in processes including quality control. You will play a key function in maintaining the high level of quality the company expects in every log cabin that is delivered to a customer.
Key Responsibilities
- The management of purchased and manufactured items stock levels
- Maintaining stock accuracy by ensuring the system matches physical stocks by performing daily and weekly stock checks
- The management and inspection of all incoming goods
- Act as a point of contact for delivery drivers transporting stock
- Communicating with the Supply Chain Manager and their department regarding stock levels and ordering
- Communicating with warehouse and production teams to ensure priorities for manufacturing are met
- Keeping stock control systems up to date, ensuring inventories are accurate
- Management of returned items, including processing and re-storing
- Preparation of post/courier items
- Operating machinery as required (FLT, CombiLift, etc.)
- Any other duties as required
