Role Overview

The primary purpose of the role is to manufacture components required for log cabins, working alongside a team of people who are also working on the product. You will be responsible for maintaining the high level of quality the company expects in every log cabin that is delivered to a customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to manufacture log cabin components and structures
  • Use machinery and tools such as saws, nail guns, notching machine, and handheld tools
  • Follow production plans, drawings, and schedules to ensure accuracy and output
  • Prepare and assemble components including glazing, doors, and ironmongery
  • Pick, pack, and label products correctly for dispatch
  • Maintain high attention to detail to meet quality standards
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Compliance with health and safety procedures and correct use of PPE
  • Operate equipment such as pallet trucks and FLTs where trained
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
