Role Overview
The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised manufacturing environment. The role involves cleaning production areas, offices, and communal spaces, with a strong focus on dust control, waste management, and general housekeeping standards. This role suits someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning production areas, offices, and communal spaces
- Controlling dust and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling
- Keeping floors, walkways, and access routes clean and clear
- Using cleaning equipment correctly and reporting any issues
- Reporting hazards or concerns to the line manager
