Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays), may include 1-2 overnights during the week (stay and parking paid).

Hours: 40 Hours per week guaranteed + overtime.

Rate: From £14.50 per hour dependent upon experience.

About Us: Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a market leader in the manufacture of garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. Based in three sites at Rodley (LS13), Thornbury (BD3) and Horsforth (LS18), our sales have grown rapidly and we are now looking to expand our team of professional drivers.

The Role: This is a permanent vacancy. Applicants must have experience of driving nationwide. You will be required to drive a vehicle suited to your license and skillset, in a safe and responsible manner. The role includes:

  • Delivering flat pack cabins
  • Delivering shed panels (handball)
  • Shunting timber between depots
  • Securing the load using straps and ratchets, some roping experience needed
  • Daily vehicle checks
  • Dealing with customers on a 1:1 basis for both home deliveries and trade
  • Delivering goods in a helpful manner with safety being at the forefront of all decisions you make
  • Completion of the required paperwork
  • Meeting time slots agreed with the customer and notifying the appropriate people should delays occur
  • Provide help for the loading team as required
