Job Description:
Woodlands Home & Garden Group is looking for a Data Administrator to join our thriving team at Rodley. This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, from 8.00am to 5.00pm, with a starting salary of £26,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate).
About the Role:
As a Data Administrator, you will be part of the Operations team, responsible for information flow, data integrity, and measures to enable the distribution of key performance indicators. You will ensure data is collected accurately, timely, and consistently, and that all complete information is recorded within our systems and reports. You will produce reports and help lead improvement activities to remove inefficiencies from the processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain production data with a high level of accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Ensure that all data is complete, reliable, and fit for purpose to support effective operational planning and management.
- Perform regular data checks and validations to maintain data integrity.
- Produce and distribute routine and ad hoc reports for production and management teams.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and managers to understand data needs and ensure relevant information is captured.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Document data management procedures and reporting workflows to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Support internal initiatives focused on enhancing data quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in data administration, preferably within a production, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data tools.
- Good understanding of production processes and how data supports operational planning and output.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and meaningful reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Formal qualification in business administration.
