ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Machine Operative to join our Cabins team working on our AMD Notching Machine. The machine and its operation plays an integral function in the production of our log cabins. We are ideally looking for someone who is mechanically minded, eager to learn, and able to develop a good understanding of how the machine operates. The role requires someone who can recognise when something doesn't sound or feel right and react quickly to prevent issues and downtime. The successful candidate will receive full training from our experienced operators. Key tasks include operating and programming the AMD Notching Machine, loading timber, carrying out quality checks and working safely to production targets. We are a Company that loves to invest in people.
