About Us: Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a market leader in the manufacture of garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. Based in three sites at Rodley (LS13), Thornbury (BD3) and Horsforth (LS18), our sales have grown rapidly and we are now looking to expand our team of professional drivers.
Role Overview: Starting times can vary between 2am and 6am with some overnight stays included. Applicants must have experience of driving nationwide. You will be required to drive a vehicle suited to your licence and skillset, in a safe and responsible manner.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver flat pack cabins
- Deliver shed panels (handball)
- Shunting timber between depots
- Secure the load using straps and ratchets, some roping experience needed
- Daily vehicle checks
- Deal with customers on a 1:1 basis for both home deliveries and trade
- Deliver goods in a helpful manner with safety being at the forefront of all decisions you make
- Complete required paperwork
- Meet time slots agreed with the customer and notify the appropriate people should delays occur
- Provide help for the loading team as required
